Individual Referral Form
Our team of Mental Health and Equine Behaviour Specialists work with horses to provide Equine Therapy and Learning for young people aged 5 to 25 at a private and confidential facility in North London. We set up experiences with horses through which young people can gain new insight into their strengths, difficulties, and relationships and experiment with responding differently to their emotions and to each other. All our work is with horses on the ground. There is no horseback riding involved. See here for more information and videos about our work.
We will aim to get back to you with an update on your referral within 14 days with a view to setting up an initial assessment phone call and assessment session. Depending on the size of our waiting list there may be a wait of up to 3 months, due to the number of referrals we see we cannot discuss referrals over the phone until a referral form has been submitted.
Notes on Individual Referrals
Please refer to the Services page of the website for prices.
In order to proceed with individual referrals we request that all clients are prepared to attend an assessment session.
These sessions cost £120 and funding will need to be in place before we can proceed. We have a bursary pot in place to help those who need financial assistance and welcome applications.
Group Referral Form
We welcome group referrals from a variety of referring organisations including Schools (mainstream and alternative education provisions), Local Authority Teams, Virtual Schools, Voluntary Sector Organisations & NHS Services. All the group services we provide are bespoke to the referring organisation depending on the young people you are looking to refer and your goals for them, group programmes may be exclusively therapy or education-focused or include a combination of both.
We usually hold grant funding to subsidize therapy & education groups made by new referring organisations. To apply for Bursary Funding, please complete the following form.
In order to access this funding referrers must be able to refer a group of 4 – 6 young people and show dedication to supporting attendance as best as possible. Subsidy funding is allocated according to greatest need as well as those referring organisations and individual students who make the best use of the provision (in terms of attendance and engagement)
We will aim to get back to you within 7 days.
