Breaking Down Barriers programme referral form

This programme empowers young people to gain professional qualifications in the equestrian industry and start a career in it. The qualification qualifies learners to care for horses without constant supervision. It is ideal for learners who aspire to work with horses and already have some knowledge of how to care for them. During the programme, students will be supported in connecting with equestrian employers and further education placements to help them into a career with horses after completing the course.

The course is aimed at learners who wouldn’t otherwise have the privilege of accessing formal training in the equestrian industry. Prior experience and qualifications are much less important than showing that it is your passion to work with horses and that you have the drive to commit to that goal with our support.
